Summer Storytimes
Every Friday at 10 a.m. from June 7 through July 26, at the Education Annex, 120 West Poplar Street.
Youngsters will enjoy a story, explore hands-on history objects, and make a craft in this free program for ages four through eight. 



Frisco Festival

Saturday, August 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Adults and children alike will delight in model train displays in the Education Annex, 120 West Poplar Street.  Stop by and see displays from the Sugar Creek Model Railroad Society and get your very own Model Railroad Engineer certification from the Arkansas-Boston Mountains chapter of the National Railway Historical Society.  
 






Folk Art Family Day

Saturday, September 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Enjoy demonstrations, music, and hands-on craft workshops in activities such as weaving, seed art, and gourd art.  This year’s family day takes its theme from Works in Wood: A Folk Art Sampler.  But whatever the theme, RHM family days always offer free fun for all ages. 

 

 

Historic Rogers Ghost Walks
Saturday, October 19 and Saturday, October 26, beginning at 7 and at 8 p.m.

Meet at the museum for a tour of the Historic District featuring stories of murder, mystery, and mayhem from the past.  Suitable for adults and older children.  Space is limited and tickets are required with a $5 suggested donation for adults 19 and over.  To obtain tickets call 621-1154 or come by the museum from 10 to 5 Monday through Saturday.
 

 

Holiday Open House
Sunday, December 1, 12:30 to 4 p.m.
Enjoy holiday crafts, refreshments, and tours of the 1895 Hawkins House. This year's theme in the museum's historic house is An Old World Christmas.  Discover holiday traditions from the British Isles, Scandinavia, Germany, France, and Italy, all national heritages represented among residents of Northwest Arkansas at the turn of the 20th century.
