The City Clerk is the record keeper for the City of Rogers.  As such, the City Clerk’s office is responsible for the following: preparation of City Council Agendas, scheduling City Council committee meetings, all records pertaining to City Council and Planning Commission meetings, including minutes, and keeping a permanent record of all Ordinances and Resolutions that are passed by the City Council.

The City Clerk’s office is also responsible for the issuance of business licenses (a requirement of anyone doing business within the City of Rogers), and peddler’s and for-profit-fair licenses.

The office is also responsible for alcoholic beverage permits and alcohol gross receipts taxes; and airport hangar rent billing.  Going out for bids by any city department is coordinated through the City Clerk’s office, as is all vehicle, property, and liability insurance.

This office also issues cemetery deeds, handles legal publications for the City, and provides general information, both in person and on the phone.
