Emergency Response Apparatus
The Rogers Fire Department responds with
18 frontline emergency response apparatus, including five
engine companies, two truck companies, one heavy rescue
unit, four ambulances, one airport fire response unit, two
brush pumpers, two collapse rescue units (trailer and pull
vehicle), and one command unit. In addition to these
frontline companies, the RFD has two reserve ambulances, two
reserve engine companies, one reserve ladder company and
thirteen staff vehicles. The department also has a Polaris
6x6 all-terrain utility vehicle designed for special events
and emergency medical incidents occurring along the city’s
trail system.
The Rogers Fire Department is expecting delivery of three
new fire apparatus to improve protection to its citizens.
Two new pumpers and one new ladder truck are expected to be
delivered during the fall/winter of 2013. The new apparatus
will be assigned to Engine 2, Engine 7, and Truck 5.
