Northwest Arkansas Community College is a comprehensive,
public two-year college that serves and strengthens the
community through learning for living.
The commitment of NWACC to life-long learning can be seen in
the quality of instruction it offers, and the variety of
programs it has designed to move students into the job
market in a minimum amount of time, enrich people’s lives,
and prepare them to further their education. Quality
Instruction & Programs
The hallmark of NWACC is its quality of instruction. Its
classes are taught by experts in class sizes that are small,
providing for more personalized instruction. Transfer
courses are taught by instructors with a master’s degree or
higher.
Background on NWACC
NWACC opened its doors to 1,200 students in August 1990 and
now has in excess of 5,000 college credit students, making
it one of the largest and fastest growing two-year college
in Arkansas. An additional 7,000 students are served by
through non-credit courses throughout the college’s
two-county service district.
NWACC was founded by a vote of the people of Bentonville and
Rogers on August 15, 1989. NWACC is accredited by The Higher
Learning Commission of the North Central Association.

El Colegio Comunitario del Noroeste de Arkansas (NWACC por
sus siglas en inglés) es un colegio técnico que sirve y
fortalece a la comunidad a través del aprendizaje como modo
de vida.
EL compromiso del NWACC aprendizaje de por vida se puede
apreciar en la calidad de la instyrucción que ofrece, y en
la variedad de programas que ha diseñado para colocar a los
estudiantes en el mercado en un corto período de tiempo,
enriquecer la vida de la gente, y prepararlos para educación
adicional.
Calidad en la instrucción y programas La marca del NWACC es
su calidad en la instrucción. Sus clases son enseñadas por
expertos en clases pequeñas qoe proveenuna instrucción más
personalizada. Los cursos de transferencia son enseñados por
instructores con máster o un gradeo másalto.
Antecedentes del NWACC
El NWACC abrió sus puertas a 1,200 estudiantes en agosto de
1990 y ahora tiene un excedente de 5,000 estudiantes con
crédito de universidad, convirtiéndolo en el más grande
centro educativo de carrera corta y el de más rápido
crecimiento. Adicionalmente 7,000 estudiantes son atendidos
a través de cursos sin crédito. El NWACC fue fundado
por votación de la población de Bentonville y Rogers el 15
de agosto de 1989. El NWACC está acreditado por la Alta
Comisión de Aprendizaje de la Asociación del Norte Central. |
