Osage Creek
Planned length: 9.1 miles
Constructed to date: 0.52 miles
The Osage Creek Trail runs west of Interstate 540 where two
major city streets, four trail sections and two creeks
converge to form another. The Osage Trail will eventually
meander through open natural areas, residential sections,
and commercial shopping and dining areas at Village on the
Creeks and the Shoppes at Pinnacle Hills. The picturesque
trail section built to date is snuggled along the banks of
the Osage Creek in the shadow of three giant crosses next to
one of the city’s largest churches. It begins at the
intersection of New Hope and Horsebarn roads. That’s also
where it and the Horsebarn Trail meet the Turtle Creek and
Blossom Way trail sections that mostly lie east of the
interstate. And, it’s where the Osage Creek is created by
Turtle Creek and Blossom Way Creek.
