Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is comprised of a
Captain, three Sergeants, fourteen
investigators, three clerical, one evidence technician, and
one crime scene technician.
One Sergeant supervises seven investigators whose
responsibilities are investigating major crimes such as
homicides, property crimes, robberies, forgeries, etc.
One Sergeant supervises three investigators who
primarily investigate sex crimes and crimes against
children.
One Sergeant supervises the Narcotics Unit which is
comprised of a team of investigators responsible for the investigation of illicit drug use and
trafficking. The unit works cooperatively with other local,
state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
The evidence room also comes under the Criminal
Investigation Division. It is equipped with a lab for
the processing of evidence and is manned by one evidence
technician and one Crime Scene Technician.
